I never met Jenny or Andre face to face until Andre picked me up from the train station in the middle of nowhere French country side. Any fears of being stuck in a house for a week with complete strangers who could have lured me into the middle of nowhere by myself to harvest my organs were quickly put to rest as Andre, his friend Todd and I spent the next hour on tiny french roads in the pitch black laughing ourselves silly (a bunch of inside jokes about mimes that would take way too long to explain - nevertheless - we bonded). By the time we got to the house and I met Jenny I already felt like an old friend.
The next week turned out to be a truly amazing experience that I am so thankful to have been a part of. I got to spend time with some of the most amazing people, share in the most amazing experiences, and capture some of the most amazing memories. Jenny and Andre’s vision for their wedding was brought to life through lots of DIY blood sweat and tears, and not just from Jenny and Andre. Friends and family from all over came in early to help build tables and benches, decorate, clear brush, but mostly to show some love and support for one of the coolest couples around.
The town or Eauze was such an amazing backdrop for this wedding. Such a beautiful place. Below are pics from the whole week. Prepping, rehearsing, playing petanque, bull dancing (you heard me), the ceremonies, fireworks etc.
Massive thanks to Jenny and Andre for being two of the best humans to grace this planet and for trusting me to capture your memories. Thanks for carting me across the globe to do it and for not murdering me in the woods. I love you guys and can’t wait for the reunion! ;)
I apologize for the sheer volume of pics below but hey, it’s a weeks worth so…
