This was AMAZING!! We had such a blast out at the Salton Sea with this shoot. I shot Sarah and Jeff’s wedding at the Grand Tradition in Fallbrook, CA a few months back and we had a ton of fun then so I was excited when Sarah mentioned that she wanted to do a TTD (Trash The Dress) session. We talked it over in some length and ultimately decided on an edgy shoot somewhere kind of crazy and down trodden. I had been out to the Salton Sea once before this but as we were talking this location kept popping up. So we decided that it would be the perfect location to contrast with the elegant white dress she would be wearing.  And it turned out to be the PERFECT location!! She and Jeff drove out to meet us there and they even brought their dog Chewie (who is featured in a few shots). Jeff fired up a grill while we were there and cooked us up some burgers and dogs while we played around in the mess that is the Salton Sea. A couple of my buddies, Jacob Strunk and Johnny Bishop (awesome film makers), came along to shoot some fun stills and some 8 mm film. We also had an amazing make-up artist, Catherine Webb, come and join us for some fun in the sun and she did an amazing job. Sarah was an absolute trooper as she climbed through mud and glass etc. All in all we had a ton of fun and I can’t wait for the next one! Enjoy!
