Wedding at Shutters on The Beach – Jennifer and Billy
This was an absolutely gorgeous day at Shutters on The Beach. Perfect weather, stunning couple, amazing people, and lots of love. Jennifer and Billy were truly a delight to be around and they were so fun to watch as their excitement and love for each other radiated through their whole being. It was kinda contagious. With the Santa Monica Pier and a gorgeous sunset as the perfect backdrop, Shutters on The Beach proved to be the perfect venue for their small but elegant ceremony in the sand followed by a fun and stylish reception. Thanks to everyone involved and congratulations to Jennifer and Billy! I wish you both a life full of love and adventure!
Union Station Engagement Session – Jennifer and Doug
Practically perfect in every way. Union Station provides a rustic warmth bursting with romance and visual intrigue that is hard to come by in LA. The architecture inside makes me want to jump into an old movie. Top that off with an incredible couple and you got yourself one visual/fun/exciting/romantic engagement session. I had such a blast getting to shoot with Jennifer and Doug as we hopped trains and made our way through the city and up and down alleys. They were so great to be around and really embodied the concepts for the shoot. Fantastic locations, great clothes, fun accessories, and an amazing couple makes for a fantastic shoot! Thanks for rocking this session guys!

Wedding at The Paseo Club in Valencia, CA – Tracee and Justin
Well if you can’t tell when your scrolling through the photos, Tracee and Justin are an AWESOME couple! They did a fantastic job of planning a gorgeous wedding, but what really stood out to me about their day was how much they incorporated their personalities into the wedding. From the Bridesmaid/Groomsman T-shirts they were sporting as they got ready to the Groomsmen singing “You’ve Lost That Loving Feeling” to Tracee at the reception (complete with sunglasses and all). Although cutting the cake with an AXE may have been one of my favorites! Fret not, Justin is a Fireman so if you were concerned about a sequel to “So I Married an Axe Murderer” you can rest at ease. It was great to be back at The Paseo Club where last year I shot Tracee’s cousin’s wedding reception, yet you almost wouldn’t know it! Such different looks at this venue depending on where you are. It’s great! Thanks to Tracee and Justin for being so amazing to work with and making this wedding so much fun!
Wedding at the Malibu Nature Preserve – Suzanne and Christopher

I’ll be honest, I LOVE my job. Getting to work with people Like Suzanne and Christopher is what makes my job so awesome. From the very first time I met them I found them to be some of the nicest, kindest, and genuinely happiest people. You know how sometimes you just meet people and their smile makes you smile? That’s what Suzanne and Christopher have. And the best part is, I think they feel that way about each other. Every time Christopher would look at Suzanne his face would just light up and Suzanne was soon to follow with an equally contagious smile. This made shooting them rather easy. Just get them to look at each other and it’s not hard to see why they decided to marry. They chose to have a gorgeous hilltop wedding at the Malibu Nature Preserve overlooking the ocean, and they couldn’t have picked a more perfect day. Gorgeous blue sky with just the right amount of clouds, green hilltops, and excellent weather! There was only one demand of the day, and that was that Chris wanted to be sure to get a photo like Puff Daddy’s album cover from No Way Out, and we had fun doing it. Enjoy!

Pasadena Engagement Session under the Colorado Bridge – Chris and Suzanne
If you haven’t been down to the Arroyo Seco Park in Pasadena, you must! It’s a gorgeous stretch of nature that is perfect for photos! For Chris and Suzanne’s engagement shoot I took them right down under the Colorado Bridge in Pasadena. You get a little exercise hiking around, but it is definitely worth it. Chris and Suzanne were total troopers as we climbed through weeds, up disintegrating stone staircases, and through sticky cobwebs. They even got a bit adventurous with their wardrobe changes! We planned the timing so as to get some nice afternoon light sifting in through the trees and I was very pleased with the outcome. Thanks to Chris and Suzanne for their willingness to trek through the wilderness and for making the day so much fun! I can’t wait to be a part of their big day as well. Enjoy!
Wedding at St. Brendan Catholic Church and the Castaway Restaurant – Andre and Laica
What a beautiful day this was! Everything about it was vibrant and full of life. Excellent colors, venues, and of course my favorite part: fantastic people! The day started with some getting ready photos at the Residence Inn in Burbank. Laica had an amazing hair and makeup team provided by Monet Salon and they were all fantastic to work with and did an amazing job. Laica’s gorgeous dress was made by Alberto Sanchez and awesome shoes by Nina Shoes. We even got a few fun portraits in the lobby before we headed off to the gorgeous St. Brendan Catholic Church for a wonderful ceremony. The Church is truly an architectural gem. From the stone work on the outer walls to the decorative ceiling rafters, everything about this Church is visually appealing. We ended the day at the fantastic Castaway Restaurant in Burbank where we were able to grab some fun portraits at the gazebo before heading into the reception where Andre and Laica were greeted by cheers of excitement and love as they made their grand entrance. There were so many smiles and echoes of laughter throughout the entire evening that you couldn’t help but join in. Thank you to everyone who was part of this day and thank you especially to Andre and Laica for being such an amazing couple and allowing me to be a part of your day!
Victoria and Paul, Studio Engagement
I love getting to shoot studio sessions!! They are so much fun and offer an extremely different look than available natural light. I was also very excited about the kinds of photos that Victoria and Paul were wanting to get. They had a very editorial look and feel they wanted to obtain while remaining relaxed and intimate. They were both so much fun to be working with and as the day went on they really got into it. I think they enjoyed getting to play off of each other and it was fun to see them really start to model. I don’t typically have a lot of engagement shoots that require any real modeling, they are usually more relaxed and inspired by moments, so it was fun to switch things up. Of course there were still plenty of inspired moments, so it was fun to put the two together.
I am also very excited about being a part of their wedding taking place this fall at the Lake Hills Community Church. They have a gorgeous little chapel there that I cannot wait to shoot in! The Chapel at Lake Hills Community Church is a beautiful blend of antique and modern architecture that should be great for photos!
