This wedding felt like something out of a James Bond movie. Tuxedos, bow ties, cool cars, and of course the beautiful love interest. Or in this case, Roxanne, an absolutely stunning bride. But above all, what really stood out to me about this wedding was the overwhelming sense of love and family. Two different families from different parts of the world came together to form one new family and to embrace Till & Roxanne as they took their first steps as husband and wife. The whole day hummed with the buzz of excitement, laughter, love, and unity set to the backdrop of the famous Castle Green in Pasadena as well as the beautiful Pasadena City Hall. Congrats to Till & Roxanne! May you both have a life full of love, family, adventure, and success!

According to the Small Business Association …
“Over the last two decades, small and new businesses have been responsible for creating two out of every three net new jobs in the U.S., and today over half of all working Americans own or work for a small business.
Last year, Small Business Saturday gave a boost to many of these Main Street businesses, with more than 100 million Americans shopping at independently-owned small businesses.”

Congratulations to Kevin and Yi on their gorgeous wedding at the cliff side Ritz Carlton in Laguna Nigel! I have been looking forward to this wedding ever since I met Kevin and Yi at their engagement session a few months back. I knew that after spending the day with them capturing little moments, laughter, and a few stolen kisses, that this was going to be a day to remember. And it truly was! Kevin and Yi have such a fun energy and contagious smiles that it makes it impossible not to feel happy when you are around them.
The whole day was so effortless and everything came together perfectly thanks to the awesome team at DNT Elite Events. I have worked with my fair share of coordinators over the years, but let me tell you – DNT is amazing! Super friendly, super organized, and way ahead of the game. If you’re in the market for an awesome team of coordinators you can stop looking.
He noticed her at camp.
She thought they were just friends.
But Matt couldn’t keep his heart from loving her.
And she couldn’t resist his charm.
Now they will live happily ever after.
Congratulations Matt & Elisa!!
Well we had to battle some of the elements for this one, as it was a wee bit windy and an itsy bit cold, but in spite of it all Jason and Mai rocked this session! I’m just glad that the wind and balloons didn’t create an unwanted “Up” experience. I had a really a fantastic time with these two as we traversed the city with a fun editorial style theme for the day. We got to play with some fun color and light at the Disney Concert Hall and even got to venture inside the gorgeous Biltmore Hotel for some classy shots there as well. All in all this was one rockin’ day and I am excited for their wedding coming up at Rancho Las Lomas!
Man what a fun day this was! Got to spend some time with Brannon and Darlene (one amazingly cool couple), got to play with some amazing light, tons of color, and to top it all off we ended the day over some of the best sushi I’ve had in awhile (Hama Sushi in little Tokyo). Good call Darlene! I think what really stood out to me is that these two kinda really like each other. A lot. I think it’s awesome to not just be in love, but to also be in deep like. To truly enjoy the one your with. I think their shared passion for life and ability to make each other laugh plays a huge part in that. But alas, don’t take my word for it, have a look for yourself:
Bubbles, Cameras, Kites, Color, and ton’s of Love. It’s hard to go wrong with that combo. I absolutely loved this session and I am excited to get to work with Kevin and Yi’s again at their wedding this summer at the Ritz Carlton, Laguna Niguel. Made with Lot’s O’ Love. Everything about this day felt like sitting by the fireplace with a good book on a rainy day. Hand selected glass jars filled with wildflowers, old books and bottles for centerpieces, burlap runners, and rustic old cabins to get dressed in – each detail carefully selected not as aesthetic but more so as a character, as if to play a role in the most important day of Celeste and Kevin’s lives. The friends and family surrounding Celeste and Kevin only added to this feeling of home. So welcoming and full of love and excitement for the newlyweds. I feel honored to have been there to witness the beginnings of what I believe will be an amazing life for Celeste and Kevin. A life filled with fond memories and in what I can only imagine will be a warm, nostalgic, and beautiful home. Thanks Celeste and Kevin for allowing me to be a part of such an amazing day!
This was a fantastic backyard portrait session just above the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. Most of the Ziomek family was in town visiting from the Midwest so it was great to be with them as they visited with each other and enjoyed the sunny California weather. They were such a pleasure to work with and their kids were to die for. Absolutely adorable. Enjoy!
