Palmatier Family Portrait

Family portrait – done front yard style. Andi and Nathan’s little guy Ezekiel is awesome and full of personality. He was a little sleepy when I first arrived, having just gotten up from a nap, but after a little time hanging upside down (a favorite pastime of his) he woke right up and went into baby model mode. Maybe he’ll learn baby “Blue Steel”. Zoolander anyone? Super cute little guy and an awesome family! Thanks for an awesome session guys!

Mammoth Lakes Family Portrait – Marissa and Hector

Definitely a great way to have experienced Mammoth for the first time. Crazy I know. Not sure how I have gotten through most of my life having never been to Mammoth. Alas, I went, I saw, and it was good. Nay it was great! Marissa and Hector are two of the kindest people on the planet so this shoot was a treat indeed. Great location and awesome people. Can’t go wrong there. Enjoy!

Wedding at Eagle Glen Golf Course in Corona, CA – Tiffany and Nick

This was such a fantastic wedding! It was my first time shooting at Eagle Glen Golf Course and let me tell you it has some scenic views! The whole day seemed to flow effortlessly and it was fun to see how excited Tiffany and Nick were to be getting married. The weather (despite threats of rain) was perfect, everything was running on time, and the entire day was full of fantastic people who were excited to celebrate Tiffany and Nick’s big day. While we got some extremely fun Bridal Party and Family portraits, I think my favorite part of the day was loading up on the back of a golf cart and trekking off into the outer regions of the golf course for some romatic pics with just Tiffany and Nick. I may have been juggling camera’s and light stands while holding on for dear life as we scaled steep hills and rounded corners, but it was so much fun and we were able to get some fantastic shots. Tiffany’s gorgeous dress was made by Maggie Sottero, bridesmaids dresses by J. Crew, and the day’s DJ was Fred Davis of Sound Garden Productions (he was fantastic to work with so be sure to check him out). Thanks to Tiffany and Nick for making this such an incredible experience and for having me as a part of your day. Enjoy!

Family Portrait at Wood’s Cove, Laguna Beach CA – Lyndsey and JJ

This summer I had a little contest on my Facebook page for previous clients. I posted pictures from my previous clients weddings and the goal was for them to tell their friends and family to join my group and vote for their photo. Whoever got the most votes by the end of the competition would win a free portrait session. I wasn’t sure what kind of response the competition would get, but it was insane! There were some really committed contestants. It was amazing! It was a really close call for awhile, but ultimately Lyndsey and JJ pulled ahead by a couple hundred votes on the last day of the competition! They totally rocked it and I was super excited to have them participate and I send many thanks to all of the other contestants who were so great during the whole process. Especially Meliss and Chad – you guys gave Lyndsey and JJ a run for their money! I hadn’t seen Lyndsey and JJ since their wedding over a year ago so it was extremely fun to get to shoot them again. We had an amazing day at Wood’s Cove down in Laguna Beach. They even brought their dog Winston who was a trooper and added so much fun to the day. Thanks again to Lyndsey and JJ for making this a great experience and for working so hard to take the win! I hope you enjoy!

Laguna Beach Maternity/Family Portraits – Kelly, David, Kiara, and Lily

This was a really fun Maternity Session! I met Kelly, David, and Kiara down in Laguna beach and we just walked around the town for a bit grabbing some really fun shots in different locations. We played with adorable baby shoes and little building blocks. It was awesome! It was fun to watch the whole family interact and it was pretty easy to see how excited they are about the arrival of the newest addition to their family – baby Lily! Congratulations to the Saucedo family and thanks for an awesome session!

Andi and Nathan Family Portrait, Arroyo Seco Park – Pasadena, CA

I actually went to school with Andi way back in the day (Ok so it was only ’04) and recently reconnected with her at Bravo Salon where she cuts my hair! She is an amazing stylist and if you ever need a great cut be sure to check her out! I was very excited when she and her husband approached me about doing some fun photos to send to friends and family. We wanted to do something fun and in a cool location and I immediately thought of the Arroyo Seco Park here in Pasadena. It is a little gold mine tucked away in east Pasadena that is perfect for shooting! We had so much fun exploring and walking around (definitely got our exercise) and it wasn’t hard to find some great locations for the photos. Here is some of what we got:
