Wedding at Shutters on The Beach – Jennifer and Billy
This was an absolutely gorgeous day at Shutters on The Beach. Perfect weather, stunning couple, amazing people, and lots of love. Jennifer and Billy were truly a delight to be around and they were so fun to watch as their excitement and love for each other radiated through their whole being. It was kinda contagious. With the Santa Monica Pier and a gorgeous sunset as the perfect backdrop, Shutters on The Beach proved to be the perfect venue for their small but elegant ceremony in the sand followed by a fun and stylish reception. Thanks to everyone involved and congratulations to Jennifer and Billy! I wish you both a life full of love and adventure!
Celeste and Kevin’s Vintage Wedding at Nature Friends – Sierra Madre, CA
Made with Lot’s O’ Love. Everything about this day felt like sitting by the fireplace with a good book on a rainy day. Hand selected glass jars filled with wildflowers, old books and bottles for centerpieces, burlap runners, and rustic old cabins to get dressed in – each detail carefully selected not as aesthetic but more so as a character, as if to play a role in the most important day of Celeste and Kevin’s lives. The friends and family surrounding Celeste and Kevin only added to this feeling of home. So welcoming and full of love and excitement for the newlyweds. I feel honored to have been there to witness the beginnings of what I believe will be an amazing life for Celeste and Kevin. A life filled with fond memories and in what I can only imagine will be a warm, nostalgic, and beautiful home. Thanks Celeste and Kevin for allowing me to be a part of such an amazing day!

Laura and Ryan’s Colorful Garden Wedding at Le Chene
One of the things I love most about my job is that I get to meet some amazing people, and since planning a wedding takes a decent amount of time I sometimes get to meet clients over a year before the actual wedding day. This has been the case with Laura and Ryan. I spent time with them in meetings, hanging out during engagement shoots, brainstorming ideas, etc. Even after shooting their wedding I am still in touch with them. All this to say I feel like I have formed a unique friendship with them. I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know them over the past year and I am honored to have been a part of their stunning garden wedding at Le Chene. They are two of the kindest people I have met in awhile, but what I love most about them is watching them interact with each other. It’s apparent that while these two may not be the same height, they are definitely meant for each other.
I am glad to call them friends and I am excited to see all they accomplish in their life together.

Wedding at The Paseo Club in Valencia, CA – Tracee and Justin
Well if you can’t tell when your scrolling through the photos, Tracee and Justin are an AWESOME couple! They did a fantastic job of planning a gorgeous wedding, but what really stood out to me about their day was how much they incorporated their personalities into the wedding. From the Bridesmaid/Groomsman T-shirts they were sporting as they got ready to the Groomsmen singing “You’ve Lost That Loving Feeling” to Tracee at the reception (complete with sunglasses and all). Although cutting the cake with an AXE may have been one of my favorites! Fret not, Justin is a Fireman so if you were concerned about a sequel to “So I Married an Axe Murderer” you can rest at ease. It was great to be back at The Paseo Club where last year I shot Tracee’s cousin’s wedding reception, yet you almost wouldn’t know it! Such different looks at this venue depending on where you are. It’s great! Thanks to Tracee and Justin for being so amazing to work with and making this wedding so much fun!
Calamigos Equestrian Garden Wedding – Stephanie and Jason

I’ve probably driven by Calamigos Equestrian Center 100 times but I have never actually been there. To be honest I thought it was just a nice little park with some horse trails. Boy was I wrong! Further back into the center you’ll find that it is actually a great expanse of lush fields, stalls, rings, auditoriums, and a gorgeous little white house with an intimate backyard under a canopy of beautiful old trees. From the soothing rhythm of the garden fountains to the romantic alcoves tucked away in the corners, this intimate setting is the perfect location for a gorgeous and even magical garden wedding. The perfect setting to compliment the perfect couple. Everything about Stephanie and Jason’s wedding seemed to compliment who they are: bright, colorful, romantic, and beautiful people surrounded by love. From our first meeting to the engagement session and especially on their wedding day, Stephanie and Jason have remained a constant source of joy for each other and for others as well. Their vigor for life and love for each other is inspiring and their positive and energetic personalities make it nearly impossible not to smile while you are with them. I am grateful for the time I have been able to share with them and wish them the utmost happiness and success in their life and marriage! Thanks guys!
Wedding at the Malibu Nature Preserve – Suzanne and Christopher

I’ll be honest, I LOVE my job. Getting to work with people Like Suzanne and Christopher is what makes my job so awesome. From the very first time I met them I found them to be some of the nicest, kindest, and genuinely happiest people. You know how sometimes you just meet people and their smile makes you smile? That’s what Suzanne and Christopher have. And the best part is, I think they feel that way about each other. Every time Christopher would look at Suzanne his face would just light up and Suzanne was soon to follow with an equally contagious smile. This made shooting them rather easy. Just get them to look at each other and it’s not hard to see why they decided to marry. They chose to have a gorgeous hilltop wedding at the Malibu Nature Preserve overlooking the ocean, and they couldn’t have picked a more perfect day. Gorgeous blue sky with just the right amount of clouds, green hilltops, and excellent weather! There was only one demand of the day, and that was that Chris wanted to be sure to get a photo like Puff Daddy’s album cover from No Way Out, and we had fun doing it. Enjoy!

The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel – Kelly and Randy’s Wedding
Let’s talk Kelly and Randy’s stunning wedding at the Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel!!
Three words that sum up the day:
Gorgeous, Gorgesous, Gorgeous!
We met up with Kelly and Randy as they were getting prepped for the big day. Kelly was surprisingly calm and relaxed yet extremely excited and anxious for the day to begin. The whole room was bustling with excitement as friends and relatives went to work applying makeup, steaming dresses, curling hair, etc.
Destination Wedding in Kauai, HI – Kathryne and Nick
It rained, it poured, and despite it all Kathryne and Nick got married. And it was a beautiful thing.
I don’t think I have ever seen it rain that hard. Albeit I am a good ol’ Cali boy, but I have traveled around a bit and seen my share of weather and this was almost comedic. On my first night there I remember walking from my rental car to my hotel room (20 feet) in the rain thinking I must have fallen in a pool! I know the weather was not what Kathryne and Nick must have had in mind when they were planning their tropical wedding, but I have to admit I think it may have turned out better than anyone could have imagined. They had a quaint ceremony underneath the cover a wood hut in the middle of the lush Smith Family Garden Luau. There was something about being there all together, finding shelter from the rain, huddled closely listening to Kathryne and Nick exchange their vows to the backdrop of the rainwater cascading down around us. It was really quite magical. I must say the love and excitement for Kathryne and Nick underneath that hut was enough to make any day the best day one could ask for. It was a gorgeous day and Kathryne looked absolutely stunning in her beautiful Maggie Sottero gown. Luckily I had arranged to stay for a few days after the wedding so once the weather cleared we were able to revisit the gardens and get some romantic photos in the tropical sun that Hawaii is known for. I truly loved being a part of this day and I thoroughly enjoyed getting to really know Kathryne and Nick and their amazing families. I can’t wait until our paths cross again. Congratulations to Kathryne and Nick!

Wedding at St. Brendan Catholic Church and the Castaway Restaurant – Andre and Laica
What a beautiful day this was! Everything about it was vibrant and full of life. Excellent colors, venues, and of course my favorite part: fantastic people! The day started with some getting ready photos at the Residence Inn in Burbank. Laica had an amazing hair and makeup team provided by Monet Salon and they were all fantastic to work with and did an amazing job. Laica’s gorgeous dress was made by Alberto Sanchez and awesome shoes by Nina Shoes. We even got a few fun portraits in the lobby before we headed off to the gorgeous St. Brendan Catholic Church for a wonderful ceremony. The Church is truly an architectural gem. From the stone work on the outer walls to the decorative ceiling rafters, everything about this Church is visually appealing. We ended the day at the fantastic Castaway Restaurant in Burbank where we were able to grab some fun portraits at the gazebo before heading into the reception where Andre and Laica were greeted by cheers of excitement and love as they made their grand entrance. There were so many smiles and echoes of laughter throughout the entire evening that you couldn’t help but join in. Thank you to everyone who was part of this day and thank you especially to Andre and Laica for being such an amazing couple and allowing me to be a part of your day!
