Chaili and Chadwick’s Sweetheart Session
I am offering a full day of - Love & Candy - Sweetheart Sessions on January 29th.
With Valentine’s Day just around the corner I thought it would be really fun to offer super cute/romantic sessions to couples of all ages and stages in their relationships. From Puppy love to couples that have been married for 60 years. I am calling the sessions Love & Candy and so far I am loving the results!
My first Love & Candy session was with Chaili and Chadwick, an awesome couple from Azusa, CA. Man, did they rock this session! They were such a fun and energetic couple ready to tackle all of the fun/silly/romantic ideas I had planned for them. You can see the results for yourself below.
Enjoy!
Baby Soraya
Well with the Holidays and the insanity leading up to them I have fallen behind a bit on my updates and blogging. So there may be a mass blast of blog entries over the next couple of weeks! So brace yourself.
We will start it off with this adorable session with baby Soraya. She may be just about the cutest thing I have ever seen and for whatever reason when babies sit in little baby chairs the cuteness elevates to overwhelming adorableness. Plus we got some great shots with the whole family at the end of the day just in time to get some perfect light bleed to create that mystical warmth that I love. Enjoy!
Wedding at Shutters on The Beach – Jennifer and Billy
This was an absolutely gorgeous day at Shutters on The Beach. Perfect weather, stunning couple, amazing people, and lots of love. Jennifer and Billy were truly a delight to be around and they were so fun to watch as their excitement and love for each other radiated through their whole being. It was kinda contagious. With the Santa Monica Pier and a gorgeous sunset as the perfect backdrop, Shutters on The Beach proved to be the perfect venue for their small but elegant ceremony in the sand followed by a fun and stylish reception. Thanks to everyone involved and congratulations to Jennifer and Billy! I wish you both a life full of love and adventure!
Union Station Engagement Session – Jennifer and Doug
Practically perfect in every way. Union Station provides a rustic warmth bursting with romance and visual intrigue that is hard to come by in LA. The architecture inside makes me want to jump into an old movie. Top that off with an incredible couple and you got yourself one visual/fun/exciting/romantic engagement session. I had such a blast getting to shoot with Jennifer and Doug as we hopped trains and made our way through the city and up and down alleys. They were so great to be around and really embodied the concepts for the shoot. Fantastic locations, great clothes, fun accessories, and an amazing couple makes for a fantastic shoot! Thanks for rocking this session guys!

Palmatier Family Portrait
Family portrait – done front yard style. Andi and Nathan’s little guy Ezekiel is awesome and full of personality. He was a little sleepy when I first arrived, having just gotten up from a nap, but after a little time hanging upside down (a favorite pastime of his) he woke right up and went into baby model mode. Maybe he’ll learn baby “Blue Steel”. Zoolander anyone? Super cute little guy and an awesome family! Thanks for an awesome session guys!
Desert Engagement Session – Elaine and Rafael
Excellent light, perfect cloud patterns, deep blue skies, great colors and one SUPER fun couple made this desert engagement session nothing less than awesome. Plus we got to shoot at the famous Church from Kill Bill. Fret not , nobody died!
Thanks to Elaine and Rafael for making this such a fun and memorable day!

Celeste and Kevin’s Vintage Wedding at Nature Friends – Sierra Madre, CA
Made with Lot’s O’ Love. Everything about this day felt like sitting by the fireplace with a good book on a rainy day. Hand selected glass jars filled with wildflowers, old books and bottles for centerpieces, burlap runners, and rustic old cabins to get dressed in – each detail carefully selected not as aesthetic but more so as a character, as if to play a role in the most important day of Celeste and Kevin’s lives. The friends and family surrounding Celeste and Kevin only added to this feeling of home. So welcoming and full of love and excitement for the newlyweds. I feel honored to have been there to witness the beginnings of what I believe will be an amazing life for Celeste and Kevin. A life filled with fond memories and in what I can only imagine will be a warm, nostalgic, and beautiful home. Thanks Celeste and Kevin for allowing me to be a part of such an amazing day!

Laura and Ryan’s Colorful Garden Wedding at Le Chene
One of the things I love most about my job is that I get to meet some amazing people, and since planning a wedding takes a decent amount of time I sometimes get to meet clients over a year before the actual wedding day. This has been the case with Laura and Ryan. I spent time with them in meetings, hanging out during engagement shoots, brainstorming ideas, etc. Even after shooting their wedding I am still in touch with them. All this to say I feel like I have formed a unique friendship with them. I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know them over the past year and I am honored to have been a part of their stunning garden wedding at Le Chene. They are two of the kindest people I have met in awhile, but what I love most about them is watching them interact with each other. It’s apparent that while these two may not be the same height, they are definitely meant for each other.
I am glad to call them friends and I am excited to see all they accomplish in their life together.
