I shot Alyda and Brian’s engagement at the Crystal Cove awhile back and ever since then have been looking forward to their wedding. We had so much fun and they are so full of life and energy that I just knew their wedding would be the same way. They ceremony took place at the Holy Angels Church of The Deaf in Vernon California. It is surrounded by a bunch of warehouses and industrial looking buildings, but once on the grounds, the church itself is absolutely stunning! Beautiful garden areas and vine covered brick walls, statues and fountains, and much more!
The pictures we took there turned out beautifully and Michelle Spieler of Brides by Michelle did a beautiful job with the ladies makeup! Father Tom was so kind and giving and was constantly asking what we needed and how he could help. The inside of the church was beautiful as well. Wood floors, stain glass windows. Definitely recommend this location!
From there we headed down to El Dorado Park Golf Course in Long Beach, CA. This is a huge expanse of park as well as the Golf Course and Club. It is covered in gorgeous trees and very green with small man-made lakes and fountains. Great location for photos! The reception was in a large permanent tent outdoors and with California weather it was perfect! The staff was very friendly and the guests had a great time, as did I!
